DebtPlanner support

Help with your payoff plan.

DebtPlanner uses the debts, funding, and assumptions you enter to produce local planning estimates.

Common help topics

Keeping projections useful

Keep balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and funding assumptions current. A projection is a model—not a lender statement—and actual interest, fees, payment application, timing, and payoff results can differ.

Strategies and free limits

The free experience supports up to three debts and includes Avalanche, Snowball, and strategy comparison. Avalanche generally prioritizes higher interest rates; Snowball generally prioritizes lower balances.

Lifetime Pro and restoring a purchase

Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited debts, a Custom strategy, Advanced What-If tools, and additional recurring or one-time funding options. The app displays current availability and price. If you previously purchased it with the same Apple Account, use Restore Purchases in the app.

Backup export and import

DebtPlanner can export and import a JSON backup that you explicitly choose. Exported files may contain sensitive financial information and may leave the app's protected storage for a Files location or cloud provider you select. Protect exported files and understand the chosen provider's privacy and security practices.

Local data and deletion

DebtPlanner has no developer account, backend, analytics, advertising, or tracking service. App records remain local, subject to your device's OS-managed backup and restore behavior. Removing the app may remove local information; export a backup first if you need one.

Reminder: DebtPlanner does not provide financial, credit, legal, or tax advice and does not guarantee payoff dates, interest savings, or other outcomes. Confirm payment requirements with each lender.
